Hi everyone! Does anyone knows how to add a footer/header at a specific page number? (lets say i have a document with 4 pages and i want the 3rd page to have a specific header). I am trying to do this in Java.

I have added an image as an anchor to the page header but the image is large and I wanted to reduce the size of the image to fit nicely in the header below are the code snippets.

I'm having some problems with my generated .docx file using docx4j: Word just does not open it and it just tells me nonsense messages like I've problem in row 0 column 12334234 or something. I guess this is because in the document.xml everything is in 1/single line. It would be great if that .xml (and others too) would be pretty printed, so mere humans ;-) ...

I am also facing the same type of issues when converting a google doc file or even a docx file downloaded from google drive.
I am using Java 7 with docx4j 3.2

Seeing docx4j classes being lost on the server and that is translating into NullPoiterExceptions.

I'm getting an error when I run the install program.

It says :
The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32bit) or x64 (64bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.

My computer is a windows 7 64-bit machine.
Is there a different version of the install file?

i'm trying to overwrite a footer of a document with potentally many sections with my own footer.

I use the following code, inspired by this and the HeaderFooterCreate sample. This is all footer-related code i wrote.

Is there any way to open a rtf-File?

I tried:

Or is there another lib wich can do this?

A customer sent us a document that we could not preview via Docx4J.toFO

Testing the install on a Win 7 x64 system running Word 2013, the install failed to install pre-req vstor40_x64.exe

Looking at the install log, it said
