As there are two font files (*.ttc) in our system and each contains a particular set of Chinese characters, what can I do during font mapping so that all characters can be mapped and displayed properly?

I am able to instert picture to the end of doc with: wordPackage.getMainDocumentPart().addObject(p).
I know how to replace text for other text using JAXBElement.

I am evaluating the MergeDocx utility by merging a few docx files with page number.
What I want to achieve is to have the merged docx file to retain its original documents' page number / total page number.

However the default behavior of MergeDocx will put a single continuous set of page number to the merged document.

Are there any tricks to solve the issue? Thanks.

I'm new to docx4j and struggling with following issue.
In our project we have a template (*.docx) file with text and placeholders. I use the unmarshallFromTemplate function te replace them (Actually we made a local unmarshalFromTemplate that uses the docx4j implementation).

I can replace placeholders in the maindocument, the footers but not the footnotes? Is there a reason for that.

I want to use docx4j with some programes I've written a while ago as an outputting method.

As my first try, I wanted to simply read a docx-File but the few lines:

These are the things I miss most about the otherwise very usable OpenDoPE Word plug-in (tested on Win XP 32 Bit, Office 2010), in my personal order of decreasing importance.

• The listboxes in the OpenDoPE task pane should scale according to pane size, and/or should be resizable inside the pane.
• Make contents repeat should allow to select an existing xpath expression, like with Make conditional.
• The xpath helper should allow to consolidate duplicate entries ...
