Hi All,

I'm using docx4j to edit some docx properties and it all works fine except that when i open the document using Word 2007 i have to manualy update de fields.

Is there any way to prevent this behaviour?

I'm currently starting to use docx4j and i'm having trouble when loading any docx document. I'm using JBOSS and the error it gives is the following:

Hi all,

I'm doing initial research for a proof of concept for a project and I'm trying to see what how mature the capabilities are in docx4j in regards to the following:

1. Parsing text in documents (i.e. in paragraphs, tables, etc.)
2. Merging different word documents
3. Creating hyperlinks (not to external URLs, but to other places in document)
4. Creating table of contents

I am getting a compile error when referencing all of the inner class. Such as Sectpr.PgMar .... this is happen when we do build from the command line. When I build from my eclipse there will be no problem, and I experiment with it, seems like if I put the docx4j.jar ahead of the diffx-0.61.jar I will have the same compile error that I had with command line. I am not sure if this a legitimate issue, or I just do not have the latest sources. In my version of DocX2html.xslt, line 3364 references the HtmlExporter class. But from what I can tell, the createImgE10(..) method was moved to the newer WordXmlPicture class.

org.docx4j.diff in svn now uses code which is in src/diffx, so you'll need to add that path in your IDE.

'ant dist' takes this into account.

Previously the diffx code was supplied in a jar, and org.eclipse.compare was in src/main/java
