News of PDF output

Hi All.

I am working on page vise conversion. For example I am converting 5 pages so i need 5 different pdf files. so If you guys have any suggestion regarding to this please reply ASAP.

when i am trying to convert 100's of pages of docx file it takes so much time so how can i increase the performance of this conversion.

Hi folks,

We're evaluating docx4j version 2.7.1. for a web application. Our scenary is:
1) Provide a docx template to final users;
2) These users will change content on template and upload to server;
3) Web application will merge in document data from a database and make available a PDF to download;

Simply using sample createPdf.java we're getting an overlaped header and body. Any suggetions are welcomed. Thanks

I have tried a lot of libraries (PdfBox included) that either say they Merge or Concatenate pdf's but the only thing those libraries do is add the second pdf as a new page to the first. I have attached 3 files that will show what I am trying to do.

Dear,

I'm currently working on a project implementing DOCX4J. Until now everything is working fine.
Altough I have a little question. While converting a docx file with embedded images to a pdf file (using the pdf conversion example) serveral temporary files are created. Some of the files are the images that need to be displayed in the new pdf.
When the conversion has ended, the tmp image files still exists in my Temp directory.

This was a contribution from Alberto, introduced in http://www.docx4java.org/trac/docx4j/changeset/1631 - which as per the commit message is about flexibility in how images are handled during conversion.

As per the CreatePdf sample, you can just pass a new PdfSettings() object (or null).

I am trying to convert some docx files with Chinese characters to PDF.
As there are two font files (*.ttc) in our system and each contains a particular set of Chinese characters, what can I do during font mapping so that all characters can be mapped and displayed properly?

Hi,

I'm new to docx4j. I use it to convert docx to pdf. I start by reading an existing docx, then adding a header to the wordMLPackage. Finally I convert it to pdf.
The problem is that the headers are missing in the pdfs. I tested my header addition by saving a test.docx file just before I do the conversion. The headers are there in the test.docx file.

I searched this forum, but didn't find ...

After I convert my docx to pdf. i got a message in my pdf saying: to hide these messages, turn off log4j debug level logging for org.docx4j.convert.out.pdf.viaXSLFO.
I don't know way will this message comes up and I have no idea how could i turn off the debug level for viaXSLFO. I have tried to turn root value to be off. However, i still got the message in my pdf. Do you know ...
