So I am wondering what to read to get started with pptx4j? Can anyone point me in a useful direction? There does not seem to be a tremendous amount of basic documentation to bootstrap from. Any assistance appreciated.

Cheers,
Rob

You're right, there's not a lot of basic information in one place.

I suggest you do the following:

1. Unzip a simple pptx (created in Powerpoint) and look at its contents
2. Read the introductory material in the OpenXML spec (or eg http://openxmldeveloper.org/blog/b/open ... /1970.aspx )
3. Look at the docx4j Getting Started guide
4. Run your pptx through the docx4j PartsList sample code
5. Peruse the samples in org.pptx.samples

hope this helps .. Jason
