docx to pdf conversion: problem with bullets position

we have a docx file which contains arabic characters and bullets on the RIGHT (see the attached file);
when this docx file is converted in pdf the bulled are on the LEFT, both using Docx4J.toPDF (Docx4jProperties.getProperty("com.plutext.converter.URL", "http://converter-eval.plutext.com:80/v1/00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000/convert");) and Docx4J.toFO.
Is there any reason for this strange behavior ?
