Demo Version has expired - Word Tool gone

Hi!

This morning I got a message on Word Startup "Your Demo Version has expired" (or something similar). I didn't pay to much attention at first, since the message didn't show up anymore. That is until I noticed that the docx4j Add-On is not available anymore.

Does anybody have an idea if this is connected somehow?

Thanks
Christoph

Wow, the middle of Feb has come around really fast.

The intent was/is to do a new release about now, based on feedback received on the alpha.

There hasn't been much feedback though, so I guess I'll go ahead and make another release.

In the meantime, you can use the online webapp version (linked in the menu above)

Hi Christoph

You can download an updated version from:

http://www.plutext.com/dn/downloads/142 ... taller.exe

That'll disappear from your Word ribbon in 6 months (30 August).

You might be able to install it on top of your existing installation.

If not, first remove the existing AddIn via Control Panel (Uninstall Program or Add/Remove), look for it by name Docx4jHelper or publisher Plutext.

For troubleshooting, you can see whether it is known to Word, in Word > Options > AddIns > Manage COM AddIns

cheers .. Jason
