Table cell color support using HTML Importer

I am using docx4j (2.8.1) for importing HTML tables into docx. When I import tables with cell back ground color the tables in DOCX loose the back ground color.
Is this supported ? Is there any work around ? The requirement needs color coding of cell for best practice recommendations.
