Hi, I'm duknam kim.

I have a reqirement that our system produces report document programmatically and embeds files into document by OLE Object.

I have read features of docx4j, but I'm not sure docx4j would support this functionality.

Can I insert an OLE Object to docx document with docx4j?

If it is possible, let me know how I can implement it.

Thank you.

There's a bit of work to do, but it should be feasible (at least on Windows) - see the last post in viewtopic.php?f=6&t=72

Given the level of interest in this, I'm happy to help as time permits.

Plutext now offers a commercial extension for docx4j/pptx4j/xlsx4j called docx4j OLE Helper, which makes it easy to use docx4j to programmatically embed or link files as OLE objects in a docx, pptx, or xlsx. Please email sales@plutext.com for more information.
