Paragraph rules in Word

Does word (docx) supports paragraph rules ? Paragraph line above and below rules which are supported in Indesign as shown below?

It supports some paragraph rules (eg keep with next), but not line above or below rules iirc.

I'm using Windows 2007, and it supports spacing before and after a paragraph.

Go to the Paragraph dialog, as show in attachment 1.

Go to the paragraph section of the tool bar.

Then, go to the second tab, as shown in Attachment 2.

Yes of course, but those aren't "rules" as such.

"don't add space between paragraphs of the same style" is a rule in one sense, but OP was talking about horizontal lines: https://helpx.adobe.com/au/indesign/usi ... paragraphs

In Word, there are several ways to do this, for example paragraph borders.
