I've got a document into which I added a repeat as described in the walkthrough, but whatever I do, I can't get it to repeat.
What I want to achieve is getting it to repeat without havind to dive into the xml and change some stuff.
It only ever fills in the content of the first entry but does not repeat.

Is it possible to set the size of a picture content control?
I have defined a picture control using the word developer ribbon, and bound it to an xpath in the customXml using the OpenDoPE AddIn. When I inject the base 64 encoded picture in the customXml, the control fits to the page width and does not keep it's original size.

I am trying to get docx4j to work for me to create Resumes based on a template.
I adapted an existing resume and added content-control.
The first time I ran the ContentControlBindingExtension example using my files I got an exception stating that CTSmartTagRun did not have the @XmlRootElement annotation.
So I downloaded the source, added the annotation (@XmlRootElement(name = "CTSmartTagRun")) to the CTSmartTagRun.java class and rebuild the jar.

Hi, main question here is how do I go about replacing headers and footers in a document.. I've tried a couple of different options based on the examples.

First, copying header and footer from a document with header/footer to a document with none of these

I have not written the mentioned patch yet, but today I noticed that it would be very useful to have an CustomXmlElement interface as well (http://dev.plutext.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=617). I will try to do it exactly like the SdtElement Interface without the errors I made at this one.

As soon as I'm home I will start implementing it. Hopefully we can apply it soon... ;)

I am new in docx4j Java library.
I need it because I have to make text substitutions in Word templates using content controls.
The sample CustomXmlBinding.java is very useful to do this job!

Has anyone used the docx4j to deal with the merge fields from word 2003? If so, I'd be open to some tips and/or best practices.

I created a simple merge template using word 2003 and saved it as a docx. Here's an excerpt from the document.xml:

Maven cannot find the jar file for dependency: org.apache.commons:commons-vfs-patched:jar:1.9.1
Looking at the Plutext repository, I cannot find version 1.9.1 of that library.
There is only version 1.1 and 1.1a.
